Liftup was contacted by the architect responsible for the old historic building Christiansborg Palace, because he was looking for an integrated solution to provide access to all persons, walking and walking-impaired, for one of the main assembly rooms in the Danish Parliament. The wide historic staircase 6 steps down to the assembly room was divided with a FlexStep in the middle to create easy access to wheelchair users and walking impaired. In the staff area in the new terminal building wheelchair users and walking-impaired now have the same possibilities of getting their lunch together with the rest of the colleagues in the restaurant. The EasyLift is supplied with the same floor board as on both landings. The contractor supplied the planks, Liftup cut them to size. With this optimization of the lifting platform, the EasyLift is now fully integrated in the interior design that both the consulting engineers and the architects have achieved in the complete modernization of Aalborg Airport.
