What we offer

Our team is developing the next generation of smart textiles. We have built a novel way to embed electronics directly inside of fabric to create smart textiles that are flexible, washable, and seamless; and can be produced on standard weaving machines. Our first product is an injury detecting sock to help people living with diabetes prevent amputations. Diabetes currently affects 415m people, this will grow to 590m people by 2035. 12% of diabetics will lose a leg to diabetic foot ulcers in their life. But temperature monitoring can reduce ulcers by 72%.

Products and solutions

Siren Smart Socks

Our first product, Siren Smart Socks, a temperature and foot injury monitoring sock, can monitor a person’s foot temperature continuously. Siren smart socks are designed to detect variations in foot temperature linked to inflammation. By catching significant foot temperature increases early, ulcers, amputation and death can be prevented. The Siren app sends a prompt when there is a significant increase on the foot, so that proper action can be taken in time. Alerts tell people when a potential injury is detected and remind them to check their feet, reduce pressure, and to see their doctor if necessary.
